If the US didn't make Ukraine give up it's nukes, Russia wouldn't even dare invade. Ukraine is not getting anything for free. It is the US and UK's obligation to aid Ukraine for making Ukraine give up it's nukes. On the side note, very wise of Philippines to get anti air defense from Israel. The issue is: why buy an expensive SAM system if you’re only going to put four missiles a unit? It’s capable of carrying 8; why carry only four each? Just like the PN who bought two expensive frigates in the hundreds of thousands of dollars while carry four ASM’s and 8 SAMs? I’ve had it with the military who is too cheap. You have id iots in the military leadership. When another country threatens the Philippines, they will continue to retreat knowing that their platforms are carrying inadequate defensive systems. What’s the use of having expensive platform when you can’t use them for prolonged skirmishes and the order to retreat will still continue.
