I had no idea George was on tour in 1991. He passed away on my birthday Nov. 29, 2001. 10 years from this. He was taken by cancer was too young. He is finally getting the recognition he truly deserved for being such a fine song writer along with Lennon and McCartney and I am so glad the Gen Z's are finding out how great the Beatles are. They will always be the best.

If you guys haven’t seen it there is a movie from ‘79 called the birth of the Beatles. It’s probably faulty in some facts but it is a great show of their ruse to fame, struggles and losses on the way up. I think the story of the Beatles is worth a history book lesson. Preserve to the top and just cause you’re there doesn’t mean it’s easy street. The only thing that would truly break my heart is to know that these 4 Liverpudlian lads didn’t love each other through all of it.

George plays the original part because it's part of the song and people would miss it. But he is not bound to it note for note--he works in flourishes and variations that are actually quite good. His variations on the vocal melody are pleasing as well. And that was a pretty good solo from Clapton. Nice job!

George and Eric... long separated mortally, yet always intertwined musically. Ones legacy is embedded in the others. Husband's-in-law. Masters of not only their instruments, but also the composers pencil, and their voices. A beautiful aspect of this footage is seeing the ultimate disciple of percussion, Ray Cooper, in his artistic splendor. Always seeming to be a backstage fixture for this era of musicians, his passion for the nuance of rhythm is evident in live performance audio recordings; one did not to see his physical movements by sight to know it was him playing; the video further shows his commitment to enhancing the music whatever way he can.

For all of you's that didn't like this song, then don't listen to it. A thumbs down isn't knowledge but a disregard for those who enjoyed every minute of this composition and he still "ROCKS MY HEART AND SOUL "!. If he doesn't rock your soul then listen to something else. 😁😁😁🍀🍀🍀🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

1969, I was 14 yrs old. We had a junior high school dance. This song was playing when I had my 1st slow dance and 1st real kiss right there on the gym floor. Years later, maybe 2015, I saw her and asked her if she remembered "Something" and our 1st slow dance and 1st real kiss. She said, "Yes, every time I hear it, I think of you." Love to be 14 yrs old again. Stay safe my friend during this crazy virus.

É simplesmente fantástico, George toca ao vivo exatamente como executou anos atrás com os Beatles. Isso é talento e respeito ao público. Magistral e ainda acompanhado de Clapton... sem palavras...

+bellaimages this new intro IS very beauty, one of the best intros ever. Still wonder why all live-performances with almost everyone are still no-conducted bliiblaa throw-aways? "We play some songs some 90 -120 minutes with attidude what ever - Songs are the best, players are the best, and still ... and to think that is more "natural" outcome is bs, it is just no-planned queue of some nice things we could do once
