Personally I would rather have the 2.0 than the 1.0, just because of ergonomics. However both are outside my price range, and so would be getting into angled talons. For those who can afford it though, they seem pretty nice

Hint: Orange tips don't make it look less like a firearm if you already think it looks like a firearm (especially in that color). There ARE laws related to using anything firearm-looking in public, and NO Nerf gun meets those specifications in the first place; orange tips only relate to the purchase and sale of toys.

I've heard that the triple-stage cage in this blaster and the 1.0 was designed with low crush to reduce dart wear, and to also make it FVJ-compatible, which explains why other flywheelers i.e. the DZP MK3 get similar velocities with just a single-stage cage. I'd be keen to hear from anyone who runs either Phoenix regularly how it goes through darts and how long they last before they're completely worn out.

Nope, Worker went with their serrated mini wheels in the Phoenix and it it tears up darts pretty quick. I swapped it out for Kuryaka's dual stage Pulsar cage/wheels running Krakens into Fang RVs on 3S. It's now hitting 200 to 210 with better accuracy. I also swapped their pusher motor for a Kraken and it will now run at about 15 rounds per second with the speed dial turned to max.

Seeing that accuracy testing has just made me look even more forward to you getting your hands on the new Rival blasters and ammo. Seeing hard numbers and visuals for the new ammo versus the old ammo in both the new and the old blasters (seeing if those claims of "enhanced barrels" or whatever amount to much of anything at all) will be very nice. As someone who both regularly uses Rival blasters at my HvZ and who thinks that the Pathfinder looks very tempting, learning if I should start looking into using the new ammo for all my old blasters as well is something I'm very interested in.

I'll skip on the P 2.0, as I've got my Mk3 with just 10 bucks of extra parts in it to make the ROF better than it. However, the shell and assembly/access (brass inserts ftw) is awesome to see in a general product! Perhaps the select fire kit will be able to up its ROF as the Regulator motherboard did a while back~

The angled talons are the deal breaker for me. Personally don't want to and can't afford (at the moment anyways) to invest in a whole bunch of new mags for one blaster. It's a shame coz I was, and am, excited for the Phenix 2 especially with the pending select fire and what not

I have a DZP MK3 and an OG Phoenix. Even when the MK3 has a 3S lipo, the Phoenix was a lot better to use. It hits harder, fires faster, seemed more accurate, and revved up much faster. I'll take the Phoenix over the MK3 any day and I look forward to checking out the Phoenix 2.0 Selector.

there is good news: wasp is getting their "76" nerf blaster ready. It's a full auto aeg blaster which can shoot 6 rounds per second with a 11.1v battery, and could hit an alarming fps (super high).

I ordered my worker phoenix 2.0 with the mosfet like 2 months ago on zhenduo toys, i live in Germany, does it usually take this long?

You made a mistake ordering from them. They give you the option of ordering the phoenix 2.0 with mosfet but they don't actually have any stock of it. It's a pre order scam in a sense as worker hasn't actually released the mosfet version yet. Zhenduo toys is trying to accumulate orders before it actually gets released so they can have a monopoly of sales when the mosfet gets released. If you look around no other genuine blaster sellers have stock of mosfet worker phoenix 2.0. Just the normal phoenix 2.0.

People who say that doesn't look like a real firearm are one of 2 people: people who know what real guns look like, or idiots. While the USA is infamously known for "GUNS! HELL YEA, BROTHER!", there are still A LOT of people who know NOTHING about guns, which gets really concerning when those people own guns without proper training. The point I'm trying to make is quiet simple: Not everyone knows the difference between a real gun and a toy gun simply by it's body lines. And, even if it's not entirely black, the fact that it has a good amount of black and the rest is one color doesn't really give it away as a toy, to some people at least. People do color their firearms in this way. It doesn't help that things like this are sold all black/grey either. This is why toys are typically brightly colored and , in the US, are required by law to be sold with AT LEAST an orange tip. When firearms are so prevalent in our culture, along with a history of mass shootings, the layperson may see something like this and , without that tip and/or more varied coloring, think it's a real gun. Police get called that there's a person with a gun. When this happens, they tend to show up with THEIR guns out. If they can't IMMEDIATELY tell that it's a toy, that individual's life is on the line as one wrong move could be misconstrued as a threat. So I said that people who say this is no big deal are either idiots or people who know what guns look like. The latter doesn't mean they are gun experts or actual enthusiasts, however. Anyone who is truly passionate about firearms is also passionate about firearm safety, and those people will tell exactly what I've said here. You don't mess around with guns or things that LOOK like guns. It's just dangerous. If you're in the US (tho I still recommend everyone do this where ever you are just for the sake of it) please keep the tips of your nerf, airsoft, paintball, etc orange and practice gun safety. The first clearly communicates to people who may not know better "It's okay, this isn't a real gun", and the second will help build good habits instead of bad/dangerous ones if/when you ever get your hands on the real thing. It may not look as "cool" or "realistic", but people who sacrifice safety for vanity typically end up getting themselves or, more crucially, someone else hurt. Also, great video Walcom!
