Many thanks. The railroad is changing every year and is now more a logging railroad layout. You might check out some of the other videos on my channel as well.

Gerd, do have any updated footage of your railroad ??? I'm in the process of building my new layout that will run out of my garage along my fence line and maybe onto the ground. Love the Christmas Tree Pine Trees !!! I'm doing the same thing, Great ideal.

Hi Ronnie, Meanwhile, the layout got finished as logging railroad and is shown in several other videos on my channel, including an aerial view. A few month after this video here, I decided to sell the 1:20 Colorado trains and to keep focused on US and Romanian logging railroads only. Gerd

One of the Guitar tunes sounded very much like, Elizabeth (last name can't remember). Old Blues singer, "Freight Train, Freight Train, they won't know what Train I'm on"

Hello from Norway. I enjoyed watching this. I assume the loco was RC. Which system do you use ?

What G scale steam model is that? What manufacturer made that steam locomotive and the freight cars?
@Waldbahner
@Waldbahner 4 жыл бұрын
The steam loco is a C-19 2-8-0 made by Bachmann/Spectrum. Freight cars are Bachmann/Spectrum and Accucraft, passenders Accucraft. All models are scaled 1:20.3 (Fn3-scale) and are much bigger than regular "G"-scale. They will need minimum 4' (120cm) radius curves.
@alternative890
@alternative890 4 жыл бұрын
Ok so what scale then if bigger than G?
@Waldbahner
@Waldbahner 4 жыл бұрын
@@alternative890 The track is the same with 45mm gauge. But G-scale trains are scaled at either 1:29 1:24 or 1:22.5 Those trains running in this video are in Fn3 and scaled 1:20.3 You might Google for G scale vs Fn3 scale to see the difference in size. LGB trains are called to be 1:22.5 scale, but are often smaller and shorter to make them fit tight radius curves.

So they are FN3 Scale? Completely different from G scale.

please dont add music next time. We would love to hear the sounds of the railyway and the coaches instead.

Well, as I don't use sound systems anymore, the videos may become boring to the ears. Let's see what's possible once the new season starts.
