I’m starting my leave tomorrow and I’ve been vouching big time to visit Bangkok and actually stay at the Waldorf Astoria but my wife won and I’m going to Croatia and stay at her parents instead.. So thanks for showing me what I could have-but won’t enjoy! Life well lived!

Hi! I'm a bit late to this review, but I have a question regarding the restroom. I'm due for my first visit to Thailand early next year (including a stay at the Waldorf), and it is my understanding that TP is disposed of in a small bin located next to the toilet. Something about plumbing in Thailand not being able to handle paper? Does this apply to five star hotels like the Waldorf too?

Hi there, and welcome to the channel. Good question. A lot of places have those bins for the tp due to plumbing and waste treatment, etc. But as far as I remember, this hotel didn't have that.i mean, I flushed. But I've been in plenty of resorts in Thailand that have signs telling you to dispose of the tp in the bin.. ymmv Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it

Nice review great to see you traveling again. We are back home also and you were right the VA lounge at Heathrow is a very nice place to spend a couple of hours. I'd say it's a lounge is the only place to stay comfortably, I hate Heathrow with a passion 😂. VA's 330-neo was a nice flight and little Orvill and Wilbur flew right into my bag 😉

Hi, They offered only a park view room upgrade. Nothing more. I booked through the Hilton website, so they had my status upon check in :( The free buffet breakfast was top-notch. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it.

Hey just to let you know, we received a one king bedroom suite. But I have to say we booked it over the impresario programm, so I think we become a double upgrade once for diamond and for the programm. Greetings from Thailand 🇹🇭
