Hana! A HUGE note of gratitude your way from Ontario, Canada. You pretty much changed how I educate my children & made a tremendously positive impact on our family. My 5 y/o calls you Aunty Hana, she's grown that fond of you. I'm enrolled in Foundation Studies in my Waldorf Teacher's Training. Your VDOs gave me an invaluable insight into the day to day of a Waldorf home. You're a big inspiration. Thank you for everything that you do.

Wonderful haul video! Thank you Hana. To clarify, I like those metal rings for weaving and making mobiles. Your idea of using them for math kinesthetic learning is fabulous. I also sell a two-piece inexpensive wood embroidery hoop designed specifically for embroidery and cross stitch. The paper recommended for the Transparent Window Scenes is tissue paper (we have Art Tissue Paper for that) which layers beautifully to build up color. You can use the Kite Paper as well but the colors will be deeper. Glad you're happy with everything! I too love our new chunky, 3 ply Nature Spun yarn and am so pleased to be offering the new math curriculum books from Howard Schrager. Warmly, Debbie

The Transparent Seasons book is fantastic! I’ve never heard of doing something like that! I wonder if the light box lets the little people play with the papers and colors to see how they blend and layer? Easier than holding it up to the window to play around with. Very cool! Great idea for gifts to family!

Hana, interesting I got our painting boards (like the Dick Blick version) at Waldorf Supplies over a yr ago. They were 2nds but still work and no odor. Sadly I just looked and they no longer carry them. I used King Maximo as a supplement for my older daughter (4th grade last year) as another way to reinforce multiplication tables in story format. She liked it

Wait I was mistaken about the King Maximo book. We used Multiplicando as a supplement.

How many crafts do you do per week with your 7yo daughter? My oldest will be in first grade next autumn and I was wondering what I should be expecting to do! I’m planning to purchase the Live Education curriculum for her!

Have you ever tried spinning yarn? It’s extremely fun and satisfying and gives you so much versatility in your yarn for projects. You can pick up a simple drop spindle on Amazon for less than $10.

Hi! Love your videos. Thank you for all the information. I am wondering. How come your videos don’t have any adds? I really enjoy that. Can you choose to have adds or not? And if not how do you raise funds?? Thank you!

For the boards, why not get a 2'x2' sheet of 1/4" plywood from the hardware store? You could seal it with some outdoor polyurethane or something... just a thought

You could use plywood wood, but I imagine that it may absorb water and split if untreated.

Waldorf schools, also known as Steiner schools; ◊ Rudolf Steiner, the "clairvoyant" who established the first of these schools; and ◊ Anthroposophy, the bizarre religion promoted by the schools.
@694khan5 жыл бұрын
I don’t think it’s right that you are presenting Waldorf education as something holistic when in fact if you research more about it you will find that That the philosophy behind it is based on eurocentricity and the occult. I think as a Muslim you would have not like to have misled others. I was also taken in with this educational system until I did some research.
