Cole still as good if not better than he was back then I think with wale it was signing with MMG and trying to fit into their land that has thrown him off some but the album about nothing was pretty great seems like if he stops these emotional tweets and focuses on making that dope gogo fusion shit he used to make he would be on the same level as Cole Kendrick and Drake

@skatertwin1008 жыл бұрын
+Antoine Barksdale HOW am I the only one who realizes this was SO fucking bad? The rhymes were straight garbage. Drunk or not these are PROFESSIONAL rappers, and I could out rhyme them on shrooms, so don't come at me with that "you think you can do better shit". This has a million views with very little dislikes, because anybody that actually likes J cole is brain dead. People actually sticking up for them, you are part of the problem. YOU are why hip hop sucks.
@KingSane078 жыл бұрын
frst off don't come at me like that fam u don't know me they wasn't in no cypher they wasn't some where where u had spit crazy bars they were in a food joint eattin problaly didn't even take it serious they self they enjoyin that self fuck is yo problem talkin abt im part of the problem fuck yo race a part of the main big master problem goin on with the world today cuz of yo ass hole ass race we don't have any hip hop real artist comin up no real MCs touchin the mic goin crazy don't come at these black man for something yo fuckin race of people started
@skatertwin1008 жыл бұрын
Antoine Barksdale Don't start throwing out the ignorant, racial comments straight out the gate fam. I said people who think J cole can rap well, are a part of the bigger problem. and it's true. J cole is a shitty rapper, so therefore people who want him to be big, also want rap to be shitty. So it's not my fault, and it's not "white people's" faults. White people are arguably trying harder than anyone right now to keep rap heavily lyrical, but I don't get into that racial favoritism shit. I'm mixed race and I have love for all people and for making hip hop, and I'm even pretty good at it, so my point is, when I see a world renowned artist getting a million views for spitting some garbage, I feel obligated to say something. Disagree if you want, but I'm just telling it straight. I don't like seeing somebody that I could out rhyme, forming a squad of internet defenders like you.

That's the image it has taken in, but none of that speaks volume. When J Cole drops a really good song it's usually on a different level. People can relate to his music on an emotional level, other shit just has good instrumentals and is catchy

I remember watching this back in hs. Being from DC I was listening to wale back in 05 w/ dig dug (IYKYK) but I found j. Cole’s mixtapes a while before they did this and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. It’s amazing to see where they started from and how far they’ve both truly come. Makes me look at my own life the same way… starting out with next to nothing, grindin, hustlin, takin too many L’s to even remember, and eventually getting it right and WINNING. It’s what it’s all about.

Wow, I just stumbled on this video again and I havent watched it since it first came out 4 years ago. Its amazing how time flies and how they grew as artists. These 2 grinded have been grinding it out to make it as rappers and they both opened for Jay Z's Blueprint tour 4 years later they are about to embark on their own joint tour from the success of both of their albums that came out this year.They remained good friends through thick and thin and never let the fame changed that. Its amazing
