For those who know, this is super classic. Bringing up old memories of loved ones, tributes to those that we listened to this great piece but are no more

I saw this video on KZbin in 2017 and right now, I am listening to this very song. Listen to the dept of the spoken Yoruba language. I have age on my side but then I still feel like a lost generation. May his soul rest in peace.

To my mind, Wale Glorious has an impeccable juju vocal style that can only be considered legendary. His clear sonorous voice and free flowing spontaneous leads, even in his time, was rare to find or reproduce making him a shiny juju example. Walata Alata ti e po!!!

Without meaning to offend anyone, this man looks nothing like a armed robber or any violent offender, if indeed this is his picture. His music is very distinct, though it also sounds like a hybrid of I.K. Dairo and Dele Ojo. Again, no offense intended here since I don't know who preceded who among these three. Much thanks EgbaAleke for posting this wonderful Juju song.

sirfemo According to records. He actually senior those two great guys mentioned and in what age will you people of this miserable world stop judging people with their looks. And for your information he’s nothing close to those violent mentioned he actually took his own life because of his two friends at that time used his car for robbing. He killed himself when he heard the story but at the end of the story the two guys claimed he didn’t know anything about their crimes but it was too late. He was a good singer and a good father.

What's this kind of negative comment all about? Kicking a dead man in his grave? There is no fact to your story. You gotta understand that an unverified story/ incident is nothing but a RUMOUR. Remember, Wale Glorious has Children, grand and probably great grand children. How would this comment make them feel? We have to be sensitive how we talk about others especially those who have passed on. I'm pulling you up with love, and not putting you down. God Bless.

some Yoruba people are so bad even in death they still insult wale glorious integrity. this song was my mum's favourite over 4 decades ago... its still unique ,subtle and gloriously indegenious, bad belle people ..just shut up.

I grew up to love Wale Glorious songs with passion just as l did with Dele Ojo and lk Dairo. songs. l don't think there was anybody from his birth place or area at that time who would say that he didn't love his songs very much. Of course, there was a lot of similarities between Dele Ojo, lK Dairo and Wale Glorious songs. This is understandable in view of the fact that the three had similar background because of their common origin. For example, Dele Ojo was an indigene of llara mokin, in Akure division. Akure people as well as llara Mokins are 100% Ekitis by an undisputable facts of history. The language or accent testifies to this fact. And Dele Ojo never hid this fact in his songs. As for Ik Dairo, he was an ljesa man. Tell me the difference between ljesas and Ekitis, then l would ask you to tell me why ljesas had to team up with Ekitis to fight lbadan during the Kiriji war and immediately their teaming up was achieved, the two groups name was changed to EKITI PARAPO! (ie EKITI UNITED). Our children must begin to be encouraged to learn history.
