Wales by R1200GS - Touratech Travel Weekend and the Welsh Mountains and Valleys

A three day trip through Wales to the Touratech Travel Weekend, taking in the Irfon Valley, Top Gear test road, Snowdonia and Dave up to his normal tricks. Great roads, great company, great beer and of course great bikes!
Every year for the last ten years Touratech have put on a free travel weekend which is a great focal point to head to. This year we also decided to take in the Welsh valleys and hills and sample the local ales...

Loving this......my bike is covered in snow, the decent welsh roads start 3 miles from my house and we’re not allowed out. Gives me hope to return to those roads and boy banter soon though.

Can never get over just how laid back Dave is and what a top bloke he is doing the cooking. Don’t know what’s going on Andy with all the 360 degree stuff and the soft rock tunes all a bit psychedelic still very enjoyable looking forward to what may come next.

Yes Andy your videography skills are improving year on year and your videos are a great watch. You’ll have to be careful that reality t.v. Doesn’t come along and headhunt Dave. What would you do, the best double act since Morecambe and Wise lol. Shame you are not doing a multi million pound production this Summer, but I understand. I was at the Ponderosa Cafe on Tuesday last week testing the same bike as Dave’s new one. Would love to catch up with you one day on a tour and pool video resources. Keep up the good work. hondabiker1960 it’s the Insta360 One - you don’t need it to rotate, you do that in the editing.

Yes, Andy, The BMW panniers are now coated black on the inside as well as the outside and looks a big improvement on the standard boxes. Hopefully stopping a lot of that winter corrosion. Regards Dave.
