Wales Coast Path 17: Cemlyn Bay to Carmel Head

Continuing around the coastline of Anglesey on our Wales Coast Path walk. This time we continue from where we finished in part 16 at Cemlyn Bay and make our way to Carmel Head. Passing. We are lucky enough to spot seals along the way, as well as some scenic coastal views and a strange old navigational aid at the end of the walk.

Hi Andy it was nice to see this area again, we are due another date there walking, we always seem to mostly be on our own near the Wylfa Power Station though ! Love Cemlyn Bay beach and the cows there are delightful. Ethan got amazing footage of the seals on the sand and in the sea, that was great to see and its always good to see the Three White ladies . Great video as always :) ~ Anna 👍

Thank you Anna, it is a lovely stretch of coastline to walk. We were lucky to see the seals, they were quite far down I can't zoom in on my rubbish phone, Ethan has to do all that, lol. We will have to come back to do Carmel Head to Church Bay at a later date as some of the path is closed. So we have continued from Church Bay in the next video. Thank you for watching. 👍👍

Wow you covered so much ground and those coastal paths looked so beautiful :) the cows are so cute... I would happily camp along side them with views like that. Such an amazing walk and you covered so much ground!

The next section I will not be walking until around March next year due to a section of the coast path is closed until the end of February next year. Cracking video as usual Webby. Cheers for the mention. I didnt realise you could move the electric fence thing next to the little bridge and crawled under it. Then missed the path closure sign .got a bit lost just after that section.ended up walking through the pheasant farm away from some nice coves. Didnt particularly enjoy section from Cemaes Bay to Church Bay. But the following section were great with the big waves.but tidss play a big part. Out injured now with bruised ribs after trying to jump a six foot wide bridge. Looking forward to your next ones.

Thank you John. I remember turning back on another walk because of an electric fence and then watching a video of someone opening one at the handlebar grip thing and thought ooh. We liked the section because of the seals I think. The next video is all ready and edited and you are in it. 😁😁 Hope you get well soon John.

Aha! you will have a nice holiday from these walks? (path closure to church bay?) but I see that there is a no. 18 to church bay, very good, was it frustrating waiting? (I don't think so, winter setting in, Xmas, new year enough to keep you busy?), you seem to have done "to church bay in maybe March or April? well done for completing so far, I could never have had your motivation.

Hi Bryn, Yes, we did the 18 earlier this year, March. I think it was, but it is harder to keep getting back up there. We will continue slowly. 20 has now been walked as well, and that will be available to watch this Saturday. We hope to get Anglesey done by the end of this year. All the best, Andy 👍🏻
