This popped up on my feed, and I am so glad I watched it. Such a sad story. A family blessed with 4 new babies, only to have them ripped away again a few days later along with the other children and father. So very sad. It's no wonder the mother took her life, driven mad with grief I dare say, bless her soul. After reading many stories where a suicide occurs, it would not surprise me if Margaret's body was passed out of the window of the house if that is where she was found, she would not have had the grace of going through the door. As for burial, she is most likely outside the graveyard, in unconsecrated ground since she committed the most heinous crime of suicide, and she would not be allowed to have a headstone as suicides were not allowed this privilege. Since we are now living in a different time, wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to locate her burial site, and place her with her family, with a headstone to mark her spot and the reason for her demise. Such a lovely video, great respect to you for showing us. Thank you.

What a sad, sad story. I caught a glimpse of a face moving across the downstairs window before you panned to the upstairs window. Thank you for sharing this tragic tale in such a respectful manner.

A Mother with no help caring for 6 crying and sick babies, that alone is a heavy load but to have to bury each plus a spouse was too much😢 Curious how they contracted the illness living so remote. Sad story, Thank you for sharing .

It is a beautiful remote area now, but back in the day it was the "wild west " of Wales. It was a busy lead and siver mining area, dating back to the Roman invasion and before. With the decline of the industry many left to work in the Coal mines of South Wales and many to North America. Including my own family.

I don't even know where to begin explaining how sad this story has made me. That poor poor lady, what unimaginable grief she must have felt. No wonder she took her own life in the end. And to have the story set in such a stunningly beautiful place is just so bittersweet. Thank you for doing this video and for respectfully remembering the family. I have just stumbled upon your channel today with this video and I already know I'm going to love it so I have subscribed!

Oh my, that poor woman, to lose her children, husband and then to have the church turn their backs on her because her heart and soul could not handle the tragedy. Life is cruel at times. Thank you for sharing their story and the beautiful country side of Wales.

Those babies look about six months old in that photo, so maybe it was “within one year there were seven dead.” I wonder how they looked after them. Imagine all those nappies, soiled clothes, towels. The feeding they’d need, about twenty-four feeds a day! And the mother survived all of them, even after feeding the babies, nursing the sick and cooking and washing! They built em tough in those days! A tiny house for eight to live in. It’s been well preserved. I’m glad I live in todays world, we can survive almost any Illness today, we’re cooled in the heat and warmed in the cold and have so many needs taken care of and in comfort. Such a sad, sad story!😥

What a terribly sad but beautifully told story! Thank you for showing us around the beautiful area and the tragic house. Very sad about the mom not being buried with her husband & children! The church has an awful lot to answer for in the torment it created by the shame imposed!

What a sad story. Just want to say on the spiritual side as you opened the front door, I felt Isaac’s spirit presence very strongly - I think he is the kindly energy people feel ❤ I can’t feel Margaret - I think she might be too upset to go back there in the present moment - but Isaac is very strong in there. It’s only him in there as a protector of the cottage I think - he’s making sure only good souls can visit there, so that his family’s story can continue to be told for the implementation of God’s will in relation to the growth and development of others. (I’ve just been given that wording 🙂) I feel he’s keeping the energy balanced as well - keeping it as a warm, loving and peaceful place despite what happened there. He’s a lovely energy - I feel he would have been a very nice person when he was alive. He doesn’t feel stuck there in any way - he wants to tell me that he really enjoys greeting visitors. He wants to let them know that he smiles a lot at them when they come in because in life he was a very friendly guy. I wanted to say as they enter but from his perspective he is the one opening the door! He’s just shown me his woollen (looks grey with black flecks) scarf around his neck and remarked it was very difficult to keep warm there! His son is there with him sometimes as well - Hugh. I can see him running round. Not all days - only about 2-3 days in a given week. Isaac tends to be there every day. In my spiritual practice, I’ve found that people can spiritually visit places (and be “ghosts”) from former lifetimes even after they’ve reincarnated. So it’s possible that he has moved on in other ways and is at peace, while still visiting the cottage. 10:39 🙂 There’s nothing bad there, don’t worry - it feels like a very peaceful place.
