This has just popped up a year after you published it and I must recommend a trip to the Hay Festival. It would make a great vlog and with your new interest in reading it would fit perfectly. You need to get accommodation booked early but lots of famous authors go and it’s such a lovely week.

The place that you & Benji stayed at looked so nice & you can't go wrong with a hot tub. Bonnie & her bed was just adorable & Benji doing his sheep jokes made me giggle so much. The forest walks looks so good to do especially with Bonnie. I'm like you Brogan I have both Mario Kart game on Nintendo switch & Nintendo wii & I still love playing them. I like coming first place in some of the rounds too. I like to browse in a gift shop too wherever i go. I get really bad travel sickness especially around winding roads, I take sickness tablets sometimes but, I do like to sit in the front seat of the car too.

Wales is definitely on my list of places to visit. Really useful tips, thank you for sharing. One thing and I hope you don’t mind me saying, if a car drove into the back of you, little bonnie doesn’t have much protection in the boot. You can buy reinforced crates specially for car boots. I’ve hear really sad stories of car accidents with dogs in the boot that have ended so sadly.

I will forgive the comment "old people sweets" not that I am an "old" person but you could be alienating more potential subscribers of the mature variety who I am sure would love your work. This video was simply marvellous and it was lovely to see you all enjoying yourselves. Took me back to walking with our alsatian in similar countryside (decades ago) and taking a backpack with supplies - Simple pleasures always the best. I suffer from Emetophobia too and I take my hat of to you being able to do all the things you do. Emetophobia stops many many things in my life some days this includes just leaving the house or seeing friends and family. It has controlled me since I was about 10 and I’m now 38. It’s a terrible phobia, one I don’t think many people understand. Even hearing the S word or V word triggers panic attacks in me.

Congrats on the nomination already voted. Another note I find if as I get older motion sickness is more prominent. Crack the window slightly amd also I suggest motion sickness tabs I use the kids ones so I don’t get drowsy. Miracle workers. Great vlog thanks

I love Wales. Growing up and living in the West Midlands, it's the easiest country to get to. Would highly recommend North Wales - Beddgelert, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Maentwrog, Porthmadog, Dolgellau, and Anglesey to name but a few. Also, Dolgoch Falls Holiday Apartments. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

For me, when I’m driving, and I feel a little carsick, I suck on some kind of mints. Like Altoids. It also helped in the delivery room. There are used lifesaver wintergreen mints. Sometimes the anesthesia can make you nauseous. I did do this on the sly because it is frowned upon to have anything in your stomach when you are in delivery in case they have to do a C-section. Anyway, it worked for me.

loved this !! you were so close to me !! if you come to Wales again you NEED to go to blaenavon and visit Big Pitt and the ironworks . people travel from as far as Scotland and abroad . You can go down into the South Wales mines in the old metal cages that the miners went in everyday ! and get a tour around the ones its fascinating !

Had to giggle when Benji said " they are hard candies". I grew up calling them boiled sweets and my parents always had a tin of those in the car. They ARE the best! I also went to Uni in Cardiff. But, I now live in the US, so I do call them hard candies if I have to. 😁 Regarding sheep: We were in the Lake district years ago and we thought they were having a huge party on the other side of the lake...after several mins we realized it was sheep!!!

This is a lovely travel vlog. I grew up in South Wales and I have family living there. I did Welsh both at primary school and secondary school and whenever I said a Welsh word with a double L in it, it came out as saying the, “th,” sound and the, “L,” sound at the same time. The accommodation looked gorgeous and spacious and I like the sound of the games room in it. The places where you, Benji and Bonnie walked looked luscious, all the food looked delicious and I'm glad you went to Hay-on-Wye too - was that the Granary Café you were eating at by any chance? I ate there when my parents and I visited Hay-on-Wye nearly 5 years ago and the toasted cheese and onion thing I had on garlic bread was actually called a garlic toastie although I'm not sure if they still do them at the Granary Café. It’s good that you and Benji decided to share the driving on this trip. I voted for you in the vlogger category for the Blogosphere Awards 2021. Although I’ve had something going on in my personal life that I prefer to keep under wraps, one thing I'm happy to share with you is that when I met up with 2 of my friends for bingo a fortnight ago,mI won £60 and one of my friends also won some money. I also took home some late Christmas 2020 and late birthday 2021 presents. Last weekend, I filmed a video where I showed these presents plus lots more but I'm thinking of reshooting the video this weekend because the footage was flickery when I filmed it on my iPad Air, so I will try filming it on my iPhone 12 mini where I know it won’t flicker instead.
