just to clarify, SUNGGYU is also an INFINITE member”leader/main vocalist” (60Sec) is his solo debut song & later they released the full member ver with him in their album and as for "Tears" it is a song from the INFINITE album and Sunggyu later performed it at the group's concert alone.

I always call SM Entertainment the recycle king because they just buy songs for their artists instead of making them new ones. It is a strategy and they should do what feels right for them, but I feel like it isn't very creative and it doesn't really make the songs their personality (but that is their choice).

That is so wrong. SM holds a song camp for producerd to create songs. There are only a few times they feel they need to buy a song a redo it because they feel it suits their concept. SM songs sounds so different from the rest of kpop so to say they just buy songs is a stretch even though they do it for some of their songs

Those writer camps aren’t theirs either, they pay several solo songwriters to make the new music. I only say they buy them because they sound good. I don’t feel like they fit their image though, Dreams come true doesn’t fit Aespa and Candy doesn’t fit Dream. The only one that kinda does is Next Level (but I ain’t the biggest fan of that). Dream’s recent comebacks are rather mature instead of the cute vibe candy gives off, and dreams come true is not aespa’s type of music. But you can have your own opinion on the matter. No need to attack someone.

They do have mature title tracks but their repackage title tracks or side promo songs are always bright and youthful like broken melodies, hello future, beatbox, best friend ever. And then of course early on they had a very young concept but even now the youthful concept is the favourite. I mean they even did a dinosaur ABC song lol
