the Kid is wearing a Lumad attire, Lumads are tribal indigenous people of the sourthern Philippines called Mindanao. (obviously the kid is from that group) It is comprised of 18 entho-linguistic indigenous groups that have its culture music and language protected by the Philippine government.

I remembered that performance of Reynan when it was aired on television here in the Philippines. Back then, I didn't understand English that much so the only thing I was onto this performance is the vocal abilities and the capabilities, but now that I am an adult, it is really more than the vocals; it's the way you powerfully portray message of the song. That was so amazing!

Francis, who sang I'll Be There, was one of the trainees in the recent P-Pop reality TV show 'Top Class' where KZ Tandingan was a mentor. I heard Francis stopped singing when puberty started so he is kind of struggling to learn his new sound now.

Filipino kids are seasoned veterans by the time they get to their teens as they've all gone through the local talent competitions since they were 5 - 6. By the time they go to a national contest like TNT, it's like just another competition....plus kids have no fear lol

Reynan's outfit was one of the tribal outfit in one of the Tribes in the PH most likely from Southern part in the PH (Mindanao). I just forgot what tribe he came from, it's just have a lot in the Philippines and that would make us have over 180 languages in one country.

2015 was 1 of the best years for Voice Kids Philippines. Esang Torres, Zephanie Dimaranan, who covered Ariana Grande sing Problem, and Elha Nympha. Their covers of songs from the late Irene Cara, RIP, were great 👍. Elha Nympha added whistle notes 📝 🤯 in Emotions, leading to the win 🏆. Although Zephanie Dimaranan ranked Number 2, she won in Idol Philippines 🇵🇭 in 2018🏆.

This was the season of the voice when Sarah got a lot of criticism’s for choosing zephanie that Lea had to defend her saying Sarah really has an ear for somebody with a great voice….now that zephanie is really doing good w/ her career, sarah is vindicated.

'po' is added to the sentence (middle and end) when you're speaking to someone older, it's a term of respect. 'Opo' is yes and is used also for when you're speaking with someone older. My parents weren't particularly concerned about this. But I have 9 sets of aunts and uncles and believe me, when I address them without the po and opo? I'd be sent to sit on top of the table whilst watching my cousins play. When I got older, I realized why it was so important. It's jarring to the senses when a child doesn't use the terms. It's very impolite. It just doesn't apply to children, too. My goddaughter is 37 and she still uses them with me.

By the way, we use the word, "po" in a daily basis. We use this to anyone older than us and to show respect. Example: I am older than my sister. I am 18 years old and my younger sister is 12, so she always add "po" whenever she says something to me.

In your query on how old these kids are, this is Voice Kids, and the age range is no more than 12 years old. I agree that the Voice Kids Season 1 was the best. The winner in that season was Luca Gairanod, 2nd place, Darren Espanto, and the 3rd I think was Darlene. I was in the USA then at that time and I voted for Darren Espanto. I think Lyca is not included here because she sang Tagalog songs during the contest.
