I was part of an angklung ensemble yeaaaars ago when I was in kindergarten (😂). Can't really say I play it bc well... you see it when you read on. Not sure if the instrument has undergone a huge transformation, but back then each angklung was a single note so as a member of the ensemble your job is to remember your place in the song and shake it accordingly. As toddler me and everyone else only operated a single angklung, but I suppose pros like the ones in the Bohemian Rhapsody can handle multiple angklungs.

You both must try to play angklung. You can come to see angklung concert and also play it in Saung Ujo in Bandung, west Java province, Indonesia. If you land in soekarno hatta airport Jakarta, you can get in "whoosh", the fastest train from Jakarta to Bandung. It only takes 40-45 minutes to reach.
