the fact that D.O. himself decided to add the Spanish ver to the album because he liked the sound & the different vibe of it + worked on his pronunciation,, shows how passionate he is along with his dedication to a whole culture...he's truly an amazing artist & a human being as a whole..

I'm so glad he decided to record the Spanish version of it bc to me, the Spanish ver sounded sooo much better than the Korean ver. I don't even understand a word of it but i absolutely LOVE IT! D.O sounds so good when he sings in Spanish.

From my perspective that D.O. mostly listens to English songs rather than Korea. He sang Chris Brown for his audition, always cover English songs, his music references always in English as well, so that’s why his pronunciatons is on point eventhough he’s not fluent in.

The reason that D.O. sings with a Hispanic accent and not more Spanish accent is very purposeful, because even before kpop blew up in the states and other western English speaking countries, kpop has an enormous following in central and South American countries, all the way back to 1st gen groups, when they did a “world tour” they only went to a couple Asian countries and then South and Central America, they eventually would have maybe 1 or 2 stops in the USA, and it wasn’t until 3rd gen groups when they started doing full tours that included North America as well, and kpop is still insanely popular there…that’s why when SM was telling people about NCTs concept before their debut, one of the first places he mentioned having a subunit outside of Asia, was South America
