This really sounds like a new generation of the classic Filipino musical genre from the 70's called "Manila Sound" which is described to be an amalmagation of rock and roll, kundiman, filipino folk rock, jazz, and funk. You'll definitely know if a song belongs to such genre. They sound like a cousin to Tom Misch or Masego but with more rock and Filipino Kundiman elements.
