KZ Tandingan (pronounced TAN DEE NGAN or TAN DING AN) is the only The XFactor winner (there was only 1 season) in the Philippines. Watch her jaw dropping audition on the X Factor Global YT channel, the judges were unanimous in predicting her to win the competition, and she did. Her series of performances on the WishBus (specifically Rolling in the Deep) earned her an invitation to audition from the producers of The Singer. I recommend you react to her performance of SAY SOMETHING and ROYALS from that show. For the show's finale she performed BANG BANG with the winner, Jessie J. As far as I know all her covers are her own arrangement. For The Singer she worked with the orchestra and tweaked the arrangement. All her WishBus performances are no less than amazing so go check them out. She performed at the LONDON BARRIO FIESTA in 2018 and 2019 (there are plenty of fanvids on YT if you want to check them out). It was during this time that she got invited by BBC Radio in 2019. Last but not the least I also recommend her mashup of NO DIGGITY x SHOUT x THRIFT SHOP that was FIRE!

Quite a few great performances on the singer from her that I think you should watch in order. 1) Anak -- Hugely popular Native Philippine song that she revised about parents relationship/love for children 2) Chinese Medley -- She sings it in Mandarin even though she does not speak it. Chinese reactors say that it is pretty spot on with sounding authentic they say 9/10 3) Real Gone- showing us something different yet again 4) Royals --- Somehow she placed last that week with her version (Have NO idea what they were thinking because this version is AMAZING). They BE CRAZY! 5) See you again - farewell song and what a way to cap it off. You two really are spot on with your insights. You are extremely perceptive people who clearly know how to experience moments fully and with no hangups. You really sink into the moment and let all the stimulus reach you and say yeah give me more. It means that you are extremely open to feeling and living in the moment. And you both are SO damn articulate about it all. Im so impressed with you two. You sound like amazing people to be around who really love life. Thank you. Please watch more KZ. She is a one of a kind artist who can move you with one short soulful note or simple gesture. Efra ur an old soul man. Both of you are tangential in your observations. Walseka’s eye for visual detail is on point. Efra on the other hand is about the other senses, the nuances in the music , the subtext of what is being presented. Both together create a diversely rich program to watch, but don’t necessarily fuel each other’s conversation. If you guys ever wanna create a more subjective analyses, I’d love to see walseka dialogue with someone with her eye for visual detail like a stylist or a well informed fashion designer so that her conversations are richer where as Efra paired with an anthropologist? I am so amazed that you found the auto tune part of the song good from the get go. KZ was criticized by viewers as soon as she started singing because they do not understand the artistry of it all. Kz is not just a singer but a very original artist, a skillfull and gifted artist. Only people like you could appreciate her creativity. I won't talk about how she arranged it herself anymore, coz that's the primary thing that all of us Filipinos have mentioned and will probably keep saying, because that's kind of her trademark: making any song HERS. Apart from that, her stage presence is another thing that's jaw dropping, especially considering she's pretty petite. she's under 5 feet tall but she commands that stage completely! :) Oh, that rap of hers is in Filipino/Tagalog and...uhmmm...let's just say she says it sooooo fast that it's extremely hard, even for us, to even just mouth along with her. Also, that rap of hers is not just some rhyming jumble of words, but something pretty profound. In essence, her rap talks about the power of her words/lyrics and how they enable one to battle against the cohorts of so-called prophets and show the strength of truth which could make you baffled and tremble in fear. Whew! Let's just say that's quite a bit to say with just a few moments onstage! Watch and react to her other performances within that competition as those will show you even more facets of her personality and skills. KZ Tandingan had a throat surgery due to polyps. Since then she developed an inferiority issues when she can no longer hit the high notes. She nearly gave up singing but when she hear Jesse's songs she became a fan and it brought her motivation to create her own music. I think she narrate it in one of the episode of the Singer. Go check it out. KZ was so emotional to see Jessie J in person hahaha.. very heart-warming episode. 🥰

Kudos to this guy! The first time I heard KZ's style of singing, it (sounds like Jessie J). Jessie would do those repetitive adlibs. KZ won X Factor PH in 2012. Price Tag and Domino was released 2011. Also HUGE at that time. So I think Jessie influence KZ in her own rendition of songs.

the autotune (intro) was deliberately use to make a reverb effect.... P.S. using autotune is a mortal sin in filipino singers.. it may ruin their reputation or even their career.. the competition is so high in the philippines in terms of singing.
