The beatboxers from left to right in the Hip-Hop Medley video are: Hiss Wing Yella E (Singer, knows basics of beatboxing) Hellcat Huckle So as you were wondering if there's a specific part that each of them has to play.... Huckle was handling the bass stuff coz his lip bass sounds the best among all 5. Hiss and Wing are good at Trumpet sounds and percussion so they handled that. And Hellcat is good at percussion and rapping. Hope that helps!! ✌ Also, plz do react to more beatboxing. You could check out some battles. Some good ones are: Hiss v/s Napom (GBB 2017) D-low v/s Colaps (GBB 2018) ....and many more. Wing (second from the left in first song) is my absolute fav beatboxer. You should see his solo songs. He is often referred to as the master/king of flow and known as one of the cleanest beatboxers in the scene, also live on stage.

Beatbox or at least certain aspects of it were in the 80s with the hip-hop trio the FAT BOYS. 😁 Remember the AI in the early 00s? There was the one contestant that did beatboxing. He won the #2 spot. He was really good. Also, Kim in the group HORI7ON can beatbox pretty good. In fact, I enjoy hearing Kim beatbox. ❤ Thanks guys! This was awesome! Wow, these guys are phenomenal. 🤩😘

6:40 this one actually does have more to do with the mouth. The Larynx being adjusted is more of a way to hollow out the space in your throat to get a more open and subby sound, though this 808 sound has nothing to do with the voice itself. It’s the side of his lip, we call it a liproll, textures of it may vary, but with the way you see him dropping his larynx, it is indeed a thing that helps him achieve that certain texture. Liproll in simple terms is an inhaled fart sound through the side of the lip while half frowning 😂

to your question at around 5 mins about roles. You’d both be right. Yes indeed they do fill in specific roles but also they are switching in and out of things. For example one guy like “Huckle” would provide his basses most of the time (his liprolls) but also offer other things like other effects and percussion.

they all can do everything exept for the girl... (she's new to beatbox) but everyone is specialized in something... The 808 bass is actually a lip roll which requires no vocals but only breathing in flapping your lips together in a specific placement with minor changes to change the pitch of it... all of the guy can do it... it's just that the bass guy has the cleanest one
