It is definitely a poor reason if not excuse. I mean he is arijit singh, he definitely have projects Goin on through which he can fund. Not saying he isn't generous enough or he committed some big blunder by doing the remake but he can definitely say no to things if legally /morally /physically /mentally doesn't suit him. Otherwise it's all fair if legalities permit but also we have right to put our thoughts

Arijit tweeted after the song got released, he knew that there would be a backlash. he tweeted : "Ali Sethi you are amazing Wish You could join us in this. or even better wish you could sing it for the film. one personal thing my kids are not gonna go for the new one they love the original like father. " "It’s important we speak about this as makers need to understand that we feel terrible when a song is been tweaked around for no reason and I pray that the makers understand whats needed and whats not." Moreover when someone asked him why did he say yes to the remake - He replied that "The makers has promised me a yearly fund for a school for underprivileged."

"Adipurush " is trash not because of visual but also epic history of "Ramayan" modification and dialogues are worst and castings are wrong from the very beginning. Visuals are bad as well. The quality of VFX is not good. Nor the conceptual art. It could have been ignored if they got the script, costumes, dialogues and acting etc right. But somehow they manged to ruin even that.

EFRA, how do you know if Adipurush was garbage? Have you seen the movie? You don’t seem to know that that PR campaign was targeted at Saif Ali Khan because of his genetic background and because he’s an insider. All his movies are being targeted and trashed without the same chance as others because of these reasons. He’s always been woefully underrated for these reasons but the Lobby has stepped up their game and appealing to the masses even more. If he was an outsider, they would be hailing him as the King of acting lol. He’s such a nice guy too. Same thing they’re doing to Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor too.
