As someone who has worked as a ride operator in Kings Dominion's planet snoopy, there was no worse feeling than seeing a kid in line that you can tell is way to small to ride. They would always be really sad and cry , sometimes parents would complain at us about it, and it just made everyone feel shitty. Seeing Walibi do all of that for the kids is honestly sooooo cooool. If I ever got to do that as a kid, that would've easily been my most favorite park memory! Major respect to them!!

It does not sit nicely though. The seats, meant by that, are weirdly uncomfortable. That aside, the launch is incredibly satisfying. Sad that it has only one inversion, it deserved more in my opinion

Dutch Yeah, they have 3 great coasters with insane ejector airtime. Really all they need is a B&M Hyper and a B&M Invert, and then maybe one of the new Intamin Multilaunch coasters that have wave turns and zero-g stalls and other RMC elements.

The Netherlands has a few parks that focus heavily on theming. Walibi knows they can't compete with that, so their approach is to be like that layed back funny student kind of vibe. They don't take themselves all that seriously (coaster full of teddybears anyone) and really try to set an atmosphere of "just plain fun" instead of the best immersion. This way they don't really compete with Efteling and Toverland. They really offer something different and attract a different audience.

Walibi Holland is a fantastic park. For several reasons, as you mentioned, the staff is really friendly, you feel that they like to work there. Everyone is greeting you, this adds alot to the experience. The rides are solid, the park is clean and actually really pretty. And they do alot of nice Events. The park is kinda Music themed, they have alot EDM music and they have alot music events. With famous DJs coming there. Fun Fact, next to the Park is a Festival Area for the "Defqon.1" Maybe it's not one of the major parks, but if you have the chance to visit it, don't miss out. Edit: you missed Platform 13?! That's sad, it got such an amazing queue, with sound smell and scare effects.

By the way they run Xpress before they open the rest of the park. I go here very often and its so good. Like you go do Xpress a few times and then voila the park is open you can enjoy the rest.

@@frontrowviews i agree. Me and my friends always go to toverland in the summer and we always have a amazing time. Because toverland is smaller than the efteling your friendgroup can split up but you can also come back with each other in less than 5 minutes. But in the Efteling it can take up to 20 minutes because that park is soo big.

many dutch grew up with the fairy tales of the Efteling and therfore have a strong nostalic connection to that park. Generally there is a strong Efteling pride that's why your statement will be a controversial discussion. Aaaand the Efteling is also a very good park as well

Seeing how Walibi handles kids being too small is great. When I went to Gardaland a few years ago, my little sister was just tall enough to ride Mammut. The employee at the entrance sent us to the station to measure her, and she was tall enough, so we started queing. When we arrived back at the station (this time to ride it), the operator measured her, barely looked and said we couldn't ride because she was too small. So my dad went to the exit with my sister to wait while my mom and I were going to ride. Well, the operator said "Get out" with the most soulless voice and face I had ever seen to my mom and I. Because my sister was too small, none of us were allowed to ride. I honestly lost my sh*t then.

I still remember the six flags days at this park. It looked amazing back then. I already miss alot of great rides that are being replaced.... but I'm sure it will become better then ever once again in the near future. Finally they started to implement theming. Because when six flags sold it and the Warner Bros contract expired the park just looked really blend. Also boomerang closed for over 4 years. Anyways had a great day still and most of the staff we're pretty exited about being there. To bad you missed Metro 13 the new que is like the second themed que in the whole park and its amazing for what its trying to do!

I can totally understand why you liked your day there so much with the Park going above and beyond what most others would do. On our Italy tour in 2017 Movieland Park at Lake Garda was that special place for us. We got an expansive backstage tour, got to see their Submarine Simulator from the outside while it operated, they allowed us to ride their Special Effects Ride in the Driver Cabin and we walked through the ride area of that Special Effects Ride while the Ride was in Operation, they showed us the Underground Tunnels that Staff uses to get around, they explained the history of the rides and how things work, it was an really amazing experience. It really transformed what would have otherwise been just another Park visit to something really special and memorable. And with not riding Platform 13 you missed out on one of the most amazingly themed Queue Line ever. Walking through that was almost better than the Ride itself.

when I went last summer all coasters where running 2 trains (exept Speed of sound, and Lost Gravity run 3). Only on a ded day (when you went) they will run 1 train. Besides that, What do you think of the Untamed trains being so different from other RMC trains?

There not diffrent. Those are going to be the v2 type trains of RMC. There also on steel vengeance and twisted timbers.

Don't worry. All but one amusment park I have been to gets a big addition the next year. (Six Flags Great America every year, Lake Compounce in 2015, Seaworld San Diego and Universal (the one) in 2016, Canobie in 2017, Great Escape in 2018, and Kings Island in 2019). Its both a blessing and a curse.

Good review, Walibi Holland is an amazing park! I thought I was the only one who liked Lost gravity's theming. The only problem with the park is the gp, they are very rude, espescially during events in the park like Fright nights and that Merlin's magic castle looks ugly now.

Xpress is a good ride its certainly worth riding, better than El Condor for sure. Untamed is 100% worth revisiting for though, it's absolutely amazing! Never ridden a RMC hybrid coaster before and just have to get on some more next summer!

I'ven been to Walibi Holland a few times. Its a good and very fun park. my thoughts are the same as yours. Its not the best park but you can just have so much fun! their Halloween event is also one of the best in Europe. My only 2 problems with the park are the capacity that they are using on mildly crowded days (most of the coasters on 1 train) and the amount of old bland rides there. for instance the whole area of the free fall and enterprise is just so boring. They could spruce that part up with getting rid of the go karts and maybe put a topscan in there and retheme the area. Just an example. But i always have a great day at the park!

All my thoughts are the same. In fact this is the closest park to where I live and I’ve tried untamed. Untamed is probably the best coaster in the park now and I love it. Definitely recommend you try it. Love your videos keep up the good work.

2 days ago I was there and it was some of the most relaxed times I had in a amusement park. We had the Fastlane pass for just 15€ and its worth it!! ..and Yes the employees there are super friendly and kind. Nice Review as always #CoasterStudios :D

Seeing this video after I saw the Efteling review, I think I get your problem with Efteling. Walibi Holland is loads more similar to the American Amusement Parks, so that's probably why it spoke to you more!! I also just realised I can finally take an RMC ride this summer because I entirely forgot Untamed was a thing. It's for the best, because I swear I heard my spine crack on Robin Hood when I went on it 2 years ago. Awesome ride, but damn it was painful haha

I can agree and disagree on walibi being better than Efteling. In the small stuff like you mentioned yeah they are. Ridewise; coaster fanatics will have a better time at walibi vs the Efteling. Overall experience of a park I think Efteling gives a way better feel. The park feels more whole but is also a themepark. Not an attraction park. So unfair to compare technically 😜. But great to hear you enjoyed both parks 🤘🏻 loved the vid!
