Got back from Caleta last Sunday morning (early hours) and we had a fab time, it’s a great resort and there’s loads of bars and restaurants, can’t wait to go back.👍👍

Forgot to say, I can recommend Gambrinus restaurant. Great place to eat, up stairs with a view of the main street.

ToonandBBfan We’ve been 4 times and always missed that restaurant. Don’t think I’ve ever seen it. What kind of food does it do? I wish I was going back. I’ve only ever been around December/ January time and it’s hot then I would imagine it’s roasting this time of year. Hope you have a great holiday and thanks for watching my video. Ave Del Castillo - next to the Old Sports Tavern. Because its upstairs you obviously do get a better view of the street and whats going on. It does a Great steak and I had Octopus once too which was a rare, out the ordinary treat for me. The sauce was delicious (Uruguayan style if I recall). Thanks

Spent a couple of weeks there in January 23, staying at castillo beach bungalows, enjoyed every minute of it. Just one blip my bungalow was broken into. Nothing taken tg. Liam kilkee clare ireland 🍀

I went here in feb 2020 was lovely, 22c peak but alittle chilly early morning and evening still was lovely weather compared to the thunderstorms at the time in uk haha , 1.50c a beer aswell was nice lol

Cambs TV The best place to see the planes is in matagorda in Lanzarote. The planes come in right off the see and the runway is just fenced off from the beach. They come in right over your head. The very first video I put on KZbin was of that. Thanks for watching 👍

Two weeks ago it was like a ghost town. Almost.

@@EllisTravel No, but one few years we go there. Was quite difficulty this time, with all the PCR testing (very traumatic for the kids), all the QR codes, declarations also. Where you show in the first images with all that stores... only Hyperdino and two ar three shops open. And only ONE (yes ONE) small bar open. No restaurants. The beach looked deserted also, hell... entire island looked deserted. In Corralejo only 10 max 20 people sunbathing. No more food / drink service on the beach. No more sunbeds south of RIU. One of them looked almost derelict. The beach in Morro Jable was virtually empty, no more sunbeds near the lighthouse. Playa de Cofete with only 10 - 15 people, imagine. Max 5 or 6 cars in the parking. Indeed, very sad situation.

It’s a terrible situation and so sad for all the people with business and the staff with. The COVID has done so much damage. I would love a holiday and the people need tourists to survive. I hope we can soon get past this situation so people can get up and running again and recover soon.

Corralejo is much livelier than Caleta. Caleta is a quieter resort. We like both, thank you for watching 👍

Philip Marlowe sounds lovely I could quite happily live there myself. That’s a great reason for you to visit Caleta. We hope to get back there for a holiday ourselves one day.
