James duff makes a good early bronco Axle conversion kit. Shouldn't be to hard to convert this to 4x4. Run a old np435 4speed and np208 the case mated to the 2.3 she'll pull the asshole outta the world with 4.10 gears. I've built a few Rangers and this set up does really well off Rd.

I was wondering because I’m gettin a small lift 2inch on mine and I’m looking for tires and if my engine will hold up with bigger tires. well when you "rotate the tires" you typically don't dismount the tires from the wheels. whichever set gets crossed will have tread going other way.
