This looks like a pretty nice place compared to "slums" in the USA.. everyone there seems in good mood, and pretty happy. Kids playing, people just going about their own business. Not like USA at all.. People scared, starving, so much worse crime, much more drugs. I like how people have so many potted plants to make the place happier. 👍👍
@manilagirltours89402 жыл бұрын
Hi @Nope Noway you see i have also searched the slums in USA, and i realized yes the slums here are a lot better. They have their own bed, usually own kitchen and bathroom as well despite of the narrow houses. People in slums here usually knows every neighbor they have and protect each other 😊

@quackersna Жыл бұрын
@@markalejandrox I don't think anyone is suggesting they are living an ideal life, but in comparison to similar areas in the US, this place is very peaceful. I've watched lots of people walk these areas and never heard gun shots, never saw cracked out people, never saw meth dealers, never saw a robbery. You could never walk the hood like this in the US and expect to not be a victim of violent crime.

yup, these are extremely underpaid workers. they happened to be some of the hardest and most reliable workers too. companies and employers in the west would be dying to have these people work for them. here in america a huge portion of the population have become extremely entitled and lazy.

It is such a shame that in metropolitan Philippines, we are littered with these makeshift shanties occupied by illegal settlers who are being protected by far left groups like Kadamay. It is years of neglect by the government that have brought about a blind eye. Some things that they can do is make the tricycles, jeepneys, karitons, farm animal breeding in the city, building without a permit, having a business without a permit, selling food that fails health standards illegal with enforced penalties and jail time. It is a pity that such prime real estate is left to be exploited by people not paying real property taxes.

Hi @Gerry P this is real talk 😊👍🏻 its good that this community is slowly being relocated somewhere else as they will be building better condominiums in this place. I hope the people could have a better life at where they will be. thanks for watching! 😊🙏💛💙🍿

Pelo que pude observar nessa comunidade o principal problema é não ter água encanada. As pessoas lavam roupas em bacias e tomam banhos de baldes. Na minha infância também tomei muitos banhos em bacias , por não ter rede de água e esgoto onde morava. Eu tirara água do poço pra minha mãe lavar roupas , fazer a comida e tomar banhos.

Slums in Quezon City/Manila vs Homeless People in Los Angeles, California living in a tent! What the difference?
@manilagirltours89402 жыл бұрын
Hi @Dt Candia in here, they build they own houses though its not allowed in a certain land 😅 However, i believe in California its more of just tents if i am not mistaken..

The difference is the lazy and crazy in the tents in Las Angeles could get a job that pays far more than in the Philippines, but they won't. We just need to say no to drugs and Democrats.

What about this slum in Quezon City I’ m just wondering if the Mayor will do something better than this environment actually very disgusting they should build Condominiums Apartment like isko Moreno did in Manila and build a proper Market place that more acceptable reputations for the public it’s terrible scenery I hope the next President Leni Robredo will do some changes for the poor area of the country specially the less fortunate peoples
