Nice video. It gives a clear picture of Cat Cat Village. Am going there in October so it’s really helpful.

You found the perfect tour guide. She didn't take advantage of you. I'm Hmong also and she's very knowledgeable of our culture at such a young age. I could tell, she's a very capable Hmong woman. Me, I've been brainwashed by the Americans : ). Traditionally, she makes the perfect Hmong wife. Her husband is very lucky. Thanks for an excellent video. I enjoyed it.

Thanks for sharing and yes she was indeed a great guide and more importantly, great person too. Would you mind elaborating what you meant by 'brainwashed by American' and how it affect your preferences?
@tsuvtom76689 ай бұрын
@@WanderEats Brainwashed just my saying of having lost some cultural values and being Americanized. Not meant to be negative.

@@tsuvtom7668 oh I know it wasn't... just curious how it affected your choices that's all. Anyways thanks once again for sharing!

@WanderEats Жыл бұрын
Hi there Oliver. Thanks for dropping by the channel and for your questions. The electric vehicle costs VND 20,000 (USD 0.80) per person and the bike into town was VND 50,000 (USD 2.00) per person. Safe travels to Sapa and have a memorable time there my friend!

Can we cover sapa in 2 days?
@WanderEats Жыл бұрын
Yes you could via the main attractions like what I did because I technically had only 30 hours in Sapa. An extra day I would have gone for a night stay at the H'mong village.

2016-2017 we went to Cat Cat village for free 😂, Things changed
@WanderEats Жыл бұрын
Wow really? Commercialism took over I guess but if it does provide opportunities for the local H'mong people, I guess it's a good thing.
@jamienguyen8610 Жыл бұрын
I think they should not charge the entry fee, instead of that they should improve the services inside the village so tourists will feel more reasonable when spending money
@WanderEats Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your sharing Jamie. I actually don't mind paying an entry fee but perhaps much cheaper while as you said, provide better facilities and attractions for me to spend more in the village to support the locals which I would love to do so.
