After China and US reopen the flight by Air China from Beijing to New York is direct and return to China from New York and then stop in Anchorage at Alaska states first and then fly back to Beijing after New York and stop for while in Anchorage is for a few day and then extend the daily flight temporary used and then turn to round trip diect flight back to pre-covid levels.

The most important thing we tell EVERY friend or family member who comes up for a visit - get OUT of Anchorage as quickly as possible. Anchorage is the 2nd ugliest thing to see in Alaska (Fairbanks is way ahead at #1). There’s nothing worth taking the time to see here and nothing worth doing. Buy whatever you need to buy for your trip and leave. The real Alaska in all its beauty starts a few minutes outside of town. Do not come back to Anchorage until it’s time to fly home.
