I walked from Kyoto Station to Nishiki Market Entrance. It took me about 40 minutes on foot. It’s a long video, so I sped up & skipped the part of walking along the same big road. I walked the easiest way to get the market entrance. Nishiki Market video here ▶kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqKzpaCbl8aBrKs I do a special giveaway! at 22:24 Please leave your comment! 😊 Time stamps are in the description. ↑ Thank you for watching! Konnichiwa Tomoko!! More exciting adventure time with Tomoko. Tomoko is in great shape, so be careful if you walk with her. Go Tomoko! Adding the music was a nice touch Tomoko. I hear Kyoto is a must see place to visit in Japan. I think you know where all the good ice cream is everywhere in Japan Tomoko LOL. Lovely video Tomoko and you looked great as always. Arigato for sharing your trip Tomoko.

When I visited Kyoto for the first time, I tried to get to Nishiki Market from Shijo Station (about a 10min walk) and got a little disorientated. I asked a nearby shop clerk for directions, and the customer beside me said something like "Nishiki Market? I'm going there next, I'll show you the way!" and we walked there together while chatting despite my poor Japanese, haha. She was so kind! It's a memory I'll never forget ☺
@tomokotomoko29 күн бұрын
That's a great memory! ☺️ Shijo station is the nearest station to Nishiki Market. 👍 There are so many shopping streets in Japan, but Nishiki Market in Kyoto and Osu in Nagoya are special to me. 😊 Thank you, PrincessxX!

Last time I was in Kyoto I walked from Kyoto Eki to Kinkakuji then to Ginkakuji, then to Nijojo and back to Kyoto Eki with only a tourist map. There have not been Google Maps, eg. The goal was to see the daily life of the people of Kyoto and some unknown shrines. I have also had some good conversations (in Japanese) with some locals because everyone were thinking that I would be lost. I have shown them where I had been on the tourist map… It was a good walk. Thank you very much, Tomoko, for sharing your video with us.

@ - Nowadays there are so many modern gadgets like maps on the smartphone and translation apps… I don’t know if there are still those tourist maps. And if the people are learning the language of the country before going there. Been there - Done that… that is now modern. But I doubt whether the real life has been seen by the tourists. I would like to meet Nuts in Oga, Akita, and go fishing with her on a boat.

Konichiwa Tomoko! It's great to hear that you will challenge yourself to read an English book! Pachinko was very popular here in Canada, and much of the television series of Pachinko was filmed here in Toronto. I hope you and your mom are doing well! 🤗😁
