If you're reading these comments and contemplating a tour with Free Tours by Foot - Do it! My wife and I toured St. Louis Cemetery #3 and also The Garden District with Daniel and found him to be a wonderful guide. Informative and with a nice delivery and the history credentials to back things up so you're not just getting local legend, you're also getting the true story, with context. All the guides we had from Free Tours by Foot were treasures. I'm so glad I found them here on youtube before our trip. And tip generously!

Thank you! We are usually in NOLA the second week (or last week) during October, but have not been since 2019…always stay @ B Orleans…(& yes!! Bourbon O Bar has great jazz & fabulous craft drinks….was just looking @ an old menu the other day), so your tour was a timely one for me. ⚜️

Can you do a video tour of the French Market? I know a ton of people would enjoy it. I always mention it on my tours along with Royal Street. ✨⚜️❤️

On a whim stayed at the Andrew Jackson on Royal. Didn't get the haunted experience I found others had, but it was a great stay when I was there due largely to the location. Most definitely a great city to enjoy in the entire world! Book it as a destination when you get the chance to do so!

Very informative video .I am just curious are the person and their dog on the sidewalk okay ? So sad to see this image .It reminds me of the song Mr Bojangles .Granted some may choose to live this way but very few do .It seems like someone would at least check on them or buy them something to eat and drink .I think a lot of larger cities could do a lot more to help the homeless .Where we live there are tons of empty buildings they could use as shelters for people to get out of the heat and cold if nothing else but they choose to let them sit empty and in disrepair instead .We live on a rural farm and have let many homeless people including families and those with pets stay out here .If they want to work or help out here they are paid a decent salary on top of a place to stay ,food and whatever they may need like going to a doctor for the people and a vet for their animals for a checkup and preventative care such as rabies vaccination .We have a lot of domestic pets and pet farm animals so have a tab at the vet .A rabies vaccination is only 10 dollars and the only vaccination that has to be done by a vet .My wife does everything else being a state licensed wildlife rescuer .I realize there are scam artists out there no doubt. My wife can spot one a mile away having been homeless herself in the past .She lost everything in a hurricane .She knows the scammers on sight .What gets me is people can spend hundreds of dollars on a phone but not buy a person and their pet some food or give them a few bucks .This is really heartbreaking to me .I am not judging you or this channel at all .I am just commenting on the sad state of affairs in our larger cities .A lot more could and should be done to help our fellow man especially the homeless and mentally ill .

I thought it appropriate to have red beans and rice while I watched this video...Does Court of Two Sisters still do a lot of stuff tableside ? I've not been there in quite a while. I prefer Cafe Beignet, you are spot on...

We just had bananas foster table side in courtyard and I think ever table for the hour and a half we were there did also. Quite a show. But the wisteria vines are dropping their leaves constantly.
