This is a huge motivational song for me! I always get chills when I hear "I'm sick and tired of waiting for dreams that never come. And games I've never played in but still wished that I had won." It makes me find the extra energy that seems to evade me from time to time...I've been a GBS fan for more than a decade!

im really touched by this song. only because two reasons. great big seas put together a beautiful song and second, it was nice of them to put danny cleary, our fellow newfoundlander who was the first newfoundlander to win the stanley cup. beautiful

Awww, I always wanted to see GBS with my Dad in St John's (where my dad lived).. but he passed before we had a chance. I saw them in Penticton about a year after his death.. but this song.... this is SO true. I can almost hear my Dad singing this to me! (he played in a band for over 35 years).

I don't know why people don't like this, but some people don't. They shouldn't not like this. But a lot of people still just need to find it. This music is perfect for me, but my mom hates it. I don't know why, but it's her choice. I do, however think that Great Big Sea is better than any other band that I've listened to.
