Walk - SketchUp for iPad

Wait... you can walk through your model? what about Orbit? Yeah... Orbit is great and all, but there are times that you need to get inside your model and walk around and THAT is exactly what the Walk command is all about!

Thanks good video! Is there a tool for: Select a group, select a pivot point on XYZ or rotate. Select a second group, select a pivot point on XYZ or rotate. Select a third group, pivot on XYZ or rotate. Then choose a group and select a handle to move or rotate that group and see the effect on the other two groups.

Are they going to make the option to record the walk through to create an animation?

To create a wlkthrough you create Scenes and then view the animation.

Hardware question: Do you think an 11 inch iPad Pro has a large enough surface or should I opt for 12.9"?

It mostly comes down to personal preference. Almost all the iPad videos on our channel use the 11" model, so you could use those as a gauge to see if it feels big enough for you.

I went for the 11 pro and I am pleased I did. A friend has the 12.9 and I find it cumbersome to hold and to work on, but that's just a personal reaction. I would highly recommend going to a store and seeing and feeling the difference in person.

I realize this is tailored to iPad, but separately, if there’s a way to navigate these life-size model on a keyboard with WASD keys and mouse-look for cameras, it would come so naturally to a generation of first person shooter users. I always thought this would be a great way for buyers to tour real estate that has been reverse engineer modeled with point clouds and imagery
