glad to see these seem to be making a comeback! :) they were my favourite series of yours but i couldn't afford to pay :( edit: uncle can i can totally relate to your sentiment in this video! i want to be more consistent and persistent too. i gotta say your videos and also dashu mandarin i found very early when i started to learn mandarin, and these channels and their videos have been my most reliable content and material for learning. i appreciate the work and care you put into every video, and you are also incredibly well spoken. the first time i heard you tell stories in the earlier podcasts and even watching videos on this channel, i felt the desire to one day have my speaking ability in mandarin as good as yours. i find even in english i tend to admire your way of conveying ideas. since i started learning i have been very inconsistent, but it's my new years resolution to study mandarin every day even if it is a little for this entire year. we can do it! after all i think humanity's greatest strength is being persistent and not giving up in the end, so keep going brother! good things come to those who are patient and persistent!
