They do that in a lot of their videos, I noticed it first in the official Anna Sun video. It's not too hard, you just have to slow down the audio when they're recording it, so while they're recording it they're just listening to a really slow version of the song. I'd love to see the real time footage of this, it must be so funny xD

Pretty common. Usually they go the other way, slow mo shots. They do slow mo by increasing the speed of the music during the shoot, so I assume for this they slow down the speed, (i.e. it takes them 8 minutes to record the video) the double it.

OMG, I was just scrolling songs on my playlist and realized that this song, which I adored wholeheartedly a few years ago, is by the same band as "Shut Up and Dance" (and I also really liked "Jenny" and "Tightrope").
