Anna, I don't know if it's your type of music, but I would kill to see you cover the bass in Mudvayne - Dig!!! Even just a little clip! It's got some of the craziest bass playing I've ever heard, I think your tone and skills could actually be a good match for the song. There is a video of just Mudvayne bassist Ryan Martinie playing the song on KZbin if you search "Mudvayne Dig Ryan" (the right video says "Just him!"). Lots of strange slapping sounds. (I'm not a bassist so I don't know the right terms haha)
