I like this town. No high rise buildings. Good quality video. 👍👍👍

Thanks for the walking tour of Launceston. The Seaport area is usually much busier.

Beautiful little city.

I've been to the park and mall. This helps me relive my visit which I really enjoyed. It is a great city to explore. It is taken with a fish-eye lens.

Like a ghost-town. I was born and grew up in Lonny it was alot more vibrant back then but the city centre is sad now. Not sure what happened.

Yeh can imagine was better back then. It seems very lacking from what I can see. Launceston seems to also lack a decent shopping centre.

Still a lot of car movement priority on the streets, meaning that people don't want to stay out on a narrower footpath surrounded by traffic noise (so you can swing by a shop to get essentials inside, and get out quick) ... among other things, including the general decline in manufacturing, monopolisation of formerly local businesses, less public transport, and suburban sprawl. I still wouldn't give up on Lonnie yet though, it has potential in the present-day, still has gorgeous architecture, and surrounding countryside. Hobart may need to get its competition game up elsewhere if neither of them improve in-step.

@@betula2137 yes its an attractive city it just needs a bit life in the centre and also an indoor shopping centre somewhere.

People would rather sit at home and watch this video then go to town square 😂

If people took their masks off and talked like humans instead of timid little karens this town might actually be ok.
