The heart will remember what the mind may forget.
Who are you walking for?
As the leading cause of death for women in Australia and the second leading cause for men, we all know someone who has been affected by dementia.
The Alzheimer’s WA Walk to Remember is the premier fundraising event in Western Australia supporting people living with dementia. Now in its 8th year (in the current format), the Walk to Remember has raised over $300,000 for direct care, research and training.
By walking to remember those we’ve loved and lost, we can help ensure those who are currently living with dementia never have to walk alone.
Choose between a 1km, 3km or 5km walk, followed by entertainment, food and beverage vans and family activities. All ages and capabilities are welcome and this year, children under 12 walk for free.
