Wow that hill really shows its slope with the angle of his legs walking beside the machine. Quite impressive . I have an old ferris 60" 3 wheeler that holds the hills nice but your walk behind and stand on are very impressive. Have a great week enjoy the family helping out.

Nice video! 👍 I use the Ferris 48” Walkbehind and just purchased another that’s a 52”. Thought about the standon but couldn’t see fit when more than 15% of my properties have bad hills. It makes it way easier, and cheaper! 😀

Question, I'm looking at a neighborhood with steep hills. What would you suggest for a mower? Ride on ZT, walker (with or without a sulky) or a stander? Your advise is appreciated.

The stand on was harder on the grass because you were standing on it. My pro stance let's you flip up the platform and becomes a walk behind when it gets really steap.

My biggest argument against the stand ons are the weight distribution and high center of gravity compared to the walk behinds low center. Am i crazy

Great content and footage. I love that your videos are pretty short. Most lawn care videos are 20+ minutes long. One piece of constructive criticism is you should you should try to make the volume of the music edits the same as when you’re talking. The music is much louder so it’s just kind of frustrating turning the volume up and down every transition. Excited to see more content. Just subscribed!

Man I’m not saying you don’t know how to use a stand on but i go places with my z3x that the only way to get a walk behind had to be by dragging it with the Ferris

Walk behind is king. I ran guard for 3 years. Took off for 1 year. Never went back. Can get into smaller areas with no guard. Stuff and debris will still come out. String will wear down on its own. And get more done quicker. You need a GRASS FLAP for them mowers. Call David Luking with grass flap.

Well tell us how the "no guard" experience was. I bet you did a little dancin with the crap hitting your legs, lol. I like no guard myself. Andy get about a two foot swath going sometimes! I suppose that's why he needs a new clutch.

It does take a bit of getting used to I will say that having ran both ways as well and now running only no-guard. Me and my guys have actually found that after a while without the guard you don't actually notice any more stuff hitting you than with it on. Personal preference though I guess

@@PlemonsLawnCareTimeout 😎 we’re you wearing any form of chaps? Mine are homemade out of an old pair of jeans. Light and breathable, open ended in the back. I prefer the guard to be on my legs so I can run with wide string wide open. Have a good day brother

I'm considering a Bradley commercial walk behind 48 hydro as a residential mower over a garden tractor Husqvarna, which has the cheapest lawn tractor setup with a transmission that is not junk and I don't want a ZTR. I absolutely want and need to be able to occasionally load in my pickup. I plan on 2,000 pound, 9' foldable ramps. So it's a $3,100+ garden tractor 48 at 5.2 mph top speed or a $3,400 commercial WB and a $200 sulky. I would have never thought before shopping, but due to the super low prices of Bradley brand mowers, a commercial WB is in the running. What are the disadvantages of a 2 wheel sulky, if any, except price? Do they get in the way more when walking? How about a pro slide? I don't understand why the glider type cost almost double that of a sulky with fewer parts? Does that manufacturer have a patent or something?

chains bro chains. get a 20 ft. from ace or where ever and loop them around the front casters. cheaper than a weight kit and can pull your stand on unit out when it gets stuck. stay dry

if you dont want to mess up your paint throw some micro fiber towels where the chain will lay on the caster arms. The chains come in handy when you never think you would need them. sometimes you have to be creative. #worksmarternotharder
