Don't know how I missed this when it came out. After high school I worked for NY State Parks and was based out of Treman. I was blessed to be selected to work the Scaling crew, a job that allowed me to access areas of the parks most people don't get to see. This was a beautiful way to see some of my beloved Finger Lakes region that I've not seen in 25yrs. Thank you.

If you've never seen this waterfall, you're missing out. We walked through the canyon and around the bend was the falls. It's amazingly high up and gorgeous. So high, that when you look up at it, it makes you feel like you're falling backwards. We took a little swim in the falls pool for a quick second as well. Truly amazing.

Simply beautiful. Love the close up of the Shooting Stars. Always been one of my favorite wild flowers.

Ryan Martinson The red flowers in the video were wild red columbines (Aquilegia canadensis). These were the first ones I've seen the east. So cool.

Beautiful vid, guys and gal. I really liked the musicality of it with the edits. It was also pretty cool to see a WalkAbout in one of my old stomping grounds. Instead of a "man, that's gorgeous", it was a "man, I remember that...that's gorgeous". Thank you.

Thanks Jim. Did you spend time in Ithaca? I lived there for a summer years ago. I have great memories from it. -Krik

Black Owl Outdoors I did. Lots of friends went to school in the area, and my sister in law went to Cortland. So, we'd visit several times a year and go waterfall hunting. There's nothing more centering to the soul than being still next to a thundering waterfall. In the summer, the water was frigid but exhilarating. You guys did it justice, sir. Very well done. Lot's of beautiful hikes out there, even if many of the "trails" are paved.

Awesome video. I went to these places a couple years ago during the time they had some massive flooding. I hiked from my campsite at buttermilk falls state park through the FLT trail to Robert Treman. amazing views all around. Have you ever been to Hocking Hills state park in Ohio? That place is a paradise. Thanks for sharing your journey.
