4K Driving Tour - Tibet to Sichuan thru Mountain Roads from Markam to Batang

Mangkang (Markam) County is located in the southeast of the Tibet Autonomous Region and the easternmost part of Qamdo City. It is located at the intersection of Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet. Mangkang means "good and wonderful area" in Tibetan. Its main tourist attractions include the Ancient Tea Horse Road and Mangkang Yunnan Golden Monkey Nature Protected area, Mangcuo Scenic Area and Niguo Temple, etc.
- BATANG COUNTY, SICHUAN
Batang County is part of the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province. Located in the southeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in the west of Garze Prefecture, at the junction of Sichuan, Yunnan and Tibet on the east bank of the middle reaches of the Jinsha River, it borders Lithang and Xiangcheng counties to the east, Derong County to the south, and the center of the Jinsha River to the west. Gongjue and Markam counties in Tibet face each other and Deqin County in Yunnan, and are connected to Baiyu County in the north.
