What questions do you have about leaving a path that makes sense?

I think it's important for you to make a distinction between knowledge team at MBB (which is what it seems you did from your videos and LinkedIn profile) and the frontline consulting team, especially as 9 years at McK/BCG you'd be earning way over $500k as a consultant (probably at Principal/Partner level). Otherwise it can be misleading for those not in the field and wanting to apply (source: Consultant at BCG)

I am very motivated. I d worked at the bank/biggest bank in my country/ for 17 years and I left last year due to do different things which are more creative and more helpful to others. I started my own consulting firm last year. Honestly, I feel give up inside. But after watching your videos it gave me motivation. Thank you so much for your effort for us.

Excellent video. I didn't work in consulting but in pharma. I am now trying to establish myself as a consultant in this industry that I know and love. One of the challenges I've encountered is how to establish a niche or value proposition that you can use to market your services. My background in the industry is quite varied, and most companies have the capabilities in-house to do what I can offer. Without knowing what problems a potential client has, do you have any recommendations on how to differentiate yourself?

I am still figuring out after 15 years in a corporate world if I am actually fit in Strategy Consulting. Any advice how to explore first steps?

this might be a good video to check out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3WqnmygapiHatU its sort of joking but also a lot of what you do in consulting. I think a good reflection: have you ever worked on turning large amounts of information into a presentation and done it with endless iterations, rounds of feedback etc?? did you enjoy that? if not you likely wouldn't love consulting

Thanks for the suggestion and describing what is like a routine of consulting work. I will try the video.

How do you balance your time on a daily basis? You do so many incredible things and i’m so curious as to what a day in the life of you (when working) looks like?

Hey, I would like to know how to succeed as a freelance consultant without having working in a consulting firm before.

Great video! I am currently choosing between 2 full time offers, BCG and McKinsey. If you were in the same situation, which firm would you pick and why?

Congrats! You're choosing between two piles of gold. You can't go wrong - don't mistake this for a tough decision. Follow your gut and you'll be good in either case. Try to get a read on the local office vibe and the people you'd be working with. Generally I found BCG in the US more nerdy and analytical and McKinsey more high level and focused on communication. McKinsey has a stronger culture but BCG has more interesting local office cultures. check out my video on this too kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3nHcn2IhKpkfLc
