Walker SoundFX Muffler Sound (1999 Civic LX)

Walker SoundFX muffler part #18558 installed on a 1999 Honda Civic LX 1.6L SOHC (non-VTEC). Just a couple of pulls to give you an idea of what it sounds like.

Yeah its a good muffler, I have driven the car over 10,000 miles since this video and it still sounds great. You are right really loud d series Hondas never sound good.

Does it at least have some volume increase? Ive got a 13 Corolla and I can't hear it hardly with a cold air intake. Its too quiet for me if u get my drift. Had a quiet Flo before but wasn't loud enough. The dash cam sound was killer but I'm assuming the windows were up?

is this with the stock resonator in place? the prev owner replaced the rusted out resonator with a pipe, now its raspy.

Was under the civic working on the shift linkage today, it still has the factory resonator!

Joe's Junk Cars cool. thanks for the updated info. it sounds good. my civic was missing the resonator, which explain some raspiness during acceleration. i just replaced the b pipe with resonator and now the raspiness is completely gone.

yes, the rest of the exhaust is stock.

However, I'm wondering if it's maybe a little too loud. It may sound fun to drive a car with a growl, but there are many times that I like to keep my windows up and listen to soft music while I drive.
