Thanks for the comment! I was hella scared at first since I get nauseous veryyy easily especially in the morning, so the morning of the surgery did not sound fun. However, I kept a smile on my face the whole way through and was always looking forward to the other side. TURN NERVOUSNESS INTO EXCITEMENT! You have nothing to worry about, and everyone at the hospital does this every day for a job. Make sure to have positive people supporting you. Hopefully this has helped, let me know how it goes and ask any questions please! 🙏

Can’t text you on IG… I’m 5 weeks post op still can’t lift up my leg and get off crutch on the day 33. And now I’m trying to walk(limp) in the brace. My situation is waaaay worse then Yours

Thanks for the comment, although I’m sorry to hear that. Every person’s situation and journey is different so don’t compare your progress to anyone else’s because it’ll end up making yourself feeling worse. Focus on everything you can do, and don’t get complacent. I hope your recovery gets better, because it does and will if you really want it to :)

Are u able to lift your leg after surgery
@hmwoodzyАй бұрын
Straight after surgery, no. I couldn’t move it at all without being in pain for the first few days, but I am now able to move it around and lift it fairly well 2 weeks after surgery.

Hey I had my acl surgery the exact same day as you. If you want, we can keep contact to help each other with our experiences! I followed you on Instagram as well. Love your progress. I havent been doing much walking around because of the pain but now i beging doing it. My biggest challenge is to get out of the bed. I need a guy to hold my leg straight.
