I'm a regular visitor to Birmingham, been coming here since 2013 (from Swansea), have always enjoyed a walk and look around Harborne town most times I'm in B'ham. Plus you can't beat a fish n chips meal from Gabriels, they're proper chip shop chips in there! I'm familiar with this area and the likes of Quinton, Woodgate, Bartley Green. Always enjoyed a good Saturday afternoon in the city centre too, but haven't done that this past year. Thanks for the upload 👍

Thank you for your comment. I do like Harborne too. You probably know more about Quinton, Woodgate & Bartley Green than me. When you decide to come back to Bham, I would suggest you to visit Moseley Village. It has village-like feel just like Harborne and has different historical spots you can visit like St Marys Church, the Dovecote, the Ice house, etc.

@@citiesthroughmyeyes ok thanks for the info I'll take a visit there at some point. Haven't been able to do too much this past year whenever I've had a weekend in Bham due to the covid situation and most places of interest or leisure being closed, restricted hours, etc. I was there last month so me and my son took an afternoon in Harborne and we sat on the front there on a bench (outside Gregg's, Post Office, Sainsbury's, that part) with our take away Costa hot chocolates Lol. I'm B'ham bound again in a few weeks so hoping by then the weather will be decent plus these restrictions are lifting. I've sure missed a good Saturday afternoon walk around the city centre and 🐃'ring this past year too!

@@citiesthroughmyeyes Moseley is my old stomping ground, changing a bit now, not quite got the same vibe although still good, seemed to change when people started to make ££ off Moseleys reputation, rather than just enjoying the moment. You wouldn't believe some of the action that went on near the Junction, including gang warfare & ultra-violence. I heard tell one SOB would let rip on Guy Fawkes' Night with a shot-gun & blow off burglar-alarms on nearby walls, with folk thinking it was merely fireworks. It was Clockwork Orange occasionally but we rescued a sweet old doggie, deserted by her owner, who would feed from bins behind Safeway's. She was adopted by my lady-friend, renamed Daisy from Sadie, and was loved to bits the rest of her days. Cutting Edge was our bookshop & boutique - then Blitzgeist - 12 years of daily servitude and an endless grind, earning the cash to enter the property market. I hear fly-tipping is the latest rage in Britain. Nice vid, kid.

@@citiesthroughmyeyesI was asked by the local carabinieri to design them a riot shield & so I painted 2 [1 each] but in the background I have a gangsta wielding a brace of revolvers, saying Laugh in the Face of Death. Theirs sits proudly above their capo's desk but none recognise my self-portrait. As we had an upstairs jewelry business in Harborne [silver especially], bad boys would frequently have a go at us: hence, we were heavily tooled up. On one occasion 8 shitheads came in, 5 carrying open cut-throat razors & said, We'll help ourselves, OK!? I said, Of course not - how much do you want for the chivs? I bought them all for £25 & sold 1 of them [German with an engraved blade] for that much, 3 for £5 each & kept one back. Anytime anyone suspicious came in I'd start sharpening a pencil conspicuously with the 1 remaining.

I filmed along the High St of Harborne, a Bham suburb. It has 2 parks not that far from the High St. I think the roads are too tight to a cycle track. But you'll find in Bham City Centre.
