Walking tour inside The Bull Ring, Birmingham (England).
In this video, you will get an overview of the shops and how the area looks like.
I purposely didn't add any background music because it was not necessary really.

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing fine today. In this video, I give you an overview of the shops inside the Bull Ring and also its layout. Next time I go back there, I'll walk in a more nonchalant manner. To be honest, it was hard filming this video (and the video prior to this one, which was the Rag Market). When I got inside and saw all these people, I said to myself 'I am not doing it, not a chance!'. I was about to leave... when I turned around and said 'I am doing it!' Being in a crowded environment and having eyeballs on me at the same time was an overwhelming experience. Throughout the walk, I kept saying in my head: "the art of not giving a F**k" over and over... After I filmed this video, I went back home, edited it and went straight to bed. I was totally drained. I am not satisfied with the way I filmed this video but it was such a challenge that I'm glad I did it anyway, despite how I felt.

I love your video especially this one as you didn't add the background music! I used to live in Birmingham back in 2011-2015 when I did my degree in Uni of Bham. I miss there so I prefer video without music so I can hear the noise, chatting or ambient sound from there. Hope you can consider to make videos without the background music please~

@@citiesthroughmyeyes The government should require large shops that currently have a 6 hour maximum trading limit on Sundays because there are less international tourists and people have less money to spend because the cost of living has gone up. By closing on Sundays you get more people to go out on different days. Banning Sunday trading for large shops would reduce overheads for businesses and attract more people to town centres, shopping centres city centres etc on weekdays and especially on Saturdays. The government should tell businesses what to do because businesses don't always make the right decisions and some of these businesses go into administration, this cost jobs and costs the UK economy. Small shops would be unaffected and all shops would be unaffected between Monday and Saturday. Under my proposal large shops would still be able to freely between Monday and Saturdays including bank and public holidays such as Boxing Day or New year's Day but excluding Christmas Day. My proposal requires large shops to close on all Sundays throughout the year and on Christmas Day whatever day of the week it falls on. I think Sunday trading was good pre Brexit, pre cost of living pre covid because there were more international tourists and people had more money to spend and my idea is if you close the large shop on Sundays you attract more people out to shopping centres, city centres, town centres, high streets, retail parks etc on the days of the week especially on Saturday. There are less international tourists here now and people will have less money to spend so my idea is to get more people to go out on other days of the week. This has nothing to do with religion, workers rights or family life. Extended Sunday trading would have been good before but not now. Also under my proposal small shops would still be able to open and trade whenever they want because they have less overheads and they provide convenience to people. I also urge you to write to your MP why Sunday trading should be banned and withdrawn. You should also copy this exact message and send it to everyone you know.

Underneath the bullring lies the original settlement of “Bjon’s People,” which originally gave Birmingham its name. Hopefully those people will reclaim it before it descends to an offshoot of Arabia or Congo - bc it’s land that doesn’t belong to them.

Wow! I thought bigots like you had died out!! Where do I start. Firstly, thd saxon settlers were foreigners who displaced the celts, but the celts were originally from mainland Europe too!! About brown and black people being here in large numbers, well you need to look at our country's history - meddling and colonising the bloody world!!! Reap and sow come to mind mate. Have a nice day

Good job. Just remember people are only looking at you out of curiosity. We live in a world now that everyone we walk past is on their phone, FaceTiming, updating their story on Instagram etc. Five years from now people won’t even look twice at you doing this. It makes great content. I am a people watcher so it’s really interesting seeing the world go by like this. What do you film your videos on btw.
