I got your channel while I was exploring facts about Kokkola, I applied as an international student and now I have got admission in Masters in Centria University of applied sciences Kokkola. I will be there in September 2024.I come from India and I am very positive about getting a quality life in Finland. But I am feeling some kind of fear of uncertainty, culture difference, extreme winter conditions and part time job opportunities. I really need some guidance in order to survive in a completely new environment.I shall be thankful if you can do something for me.thanks

The old wooden town side of the city is wonderful. I actually didn't know Kokkola is larger than Porvoo.

I wanted to come to Finland but when I looked at it 🤓 if i live one day there I'll be mad! Where's people? There is no one in the city? I wonder now how can people live in that city? I love Paris or London in these cities you'll never feel alone or sad,

Is alchololism culture strong here like in the rest of Finland? It's just annoying to see 2 or more guys that are drunk and still drinking next to the shop or something.

I don't live near Kokkola so I don't have answer to that. Maybe someone living there could know...
