Why have the sidewalks in America "Stripes" in them? How are they made? In Europe the sidewalks are made with asphalt, there are no stripes in them, except they must fix some.

Why does the gras look so green? Do they water it? It also has almost never weeds in it. Do they use something to kill the weeds? It would be not good for the environment.
