A lovely winter day walk at the worlds oldest outdoor museum. This place has the rare advantage of being loved by locals and tourists alike. A Stockholm classic since 1891. Come along for a walk in January 2022!

Loved seeing Skansen in winter, sure is more peaceful than during the summer! We brought our kids here when we visited in summer 2009. Doubtful they remember much unfortunately

That’s the problem with bringing small kids to “special” places, they’re usually not very impressed but then they find some cool junk in the ground on their way home and that’s what they remember from that outing 😂

On my first trip to Sweden in 1982 with my mom who was born there, we went to Skansen. Don’t recall much but did buy a couple of small glass items at the factory/shop at 12:10. Also remember going into an older cottage where I had to duck to get inside as too tall at 6’-9”! Nice video! 👏

Northern lights are very rare in Stockholm. And if they come they are not as spectacular as up north. But spring at Skansen is nice indeed!
