Welcome back to another jazz blues guitar lesson. Today, we're honing in on walking bass movements within the 12 bar blues. We start from the ground up, introducing the concept of walking bass for blues, then progressively incorporating techniques like chromatic movement and traditional blues bass lines.
Walking bass lines, a staple in both blues and jazz, offer an exciting way to enhance your guitar playing. By coupling them with chord comping, you'll be able to produce a fuller, richer sound, whether you're playing a solo piece or jamming with a band.
Throughout this lesson, you'll learn to seamlessly integrate walking bass lines into your blues comping, adding a new layer of depth to your playing. It's a challenge, but one that's sure to pay off in your musical journey.

I don’t want to dissect the reasons why, but you are easily a top instructor on KZbin You show how to make actual music as the main priority, and the theory is part of it

Best explanation of the approach to walking bass comping I've seen. I couldn't find the lesson on your website. I find having a chart accelerates my learning of the piece.
