Luke's death HURT for a character who wasnt super important. Connie, Kelly, Magna, and Yumiko's crying BROKE ME. RIP Jules, Luke, and Rosita 🥺 And shout out to Daryl and Carol, the two abused outsiders of the group who had the odds stacked against them from the start survived ❤ there were ANGRY FANBOYS who would shout IF DARYL DIES, WE RIOT and they tried to kill Carol off twice. In the end, it became their show about how they survived and passed on the stories to Judith Grimes, the true Protagonist of the series. It was her story the whole time. AMC'S The Walking Dead is the story of Judith Grimes's Life from Conception to Coming of Age. The people who died protecting the babies are unspoken heroes. Their last actions before being eaten alive was to flip the babies cribs over to protect them. Because of this, Rosita's Baby Coco, Jerry's Baby Miriam, and Baby Adam were saved by Gabriel, Eugene, and Rosita. And Rosita gave her life to make sure they'd make it. 🥺 Christian Serratos requested they kill off Rosita because she needed closure. She didnt want to spend the rest of her life waiting for a phone call or wondering what Rosita is doing now. She made sure she had an end to her story that would be satisfying enough that she wouldn't need to return.

Something I didn't know until years later was Carl was actually in the ending. When they are talking you can see a cowboy hat taking behind the plants and its Carl. I'll timestamp it when I get to the part but you can also look up "Carl in the last episode of the walking dead"

Gabriel being the one to try and open the gate brings his character's arc to competion. When we first met him, he refused to open the doors to his church for survivors, causing them to die. That deeply affected him and he regrets that more than anything. Now, he won't make the same mistake and opened the gates of the Commonwealth for thousands of people.

The walker with the rock @ 10:06 was a callback to season 1 when Rick was in the mall after finding Merle's hand ... Judith being shot and Daryl carrying her was a callback to when Carl was shot in season 2 before the farm, Gabriel opening the gate atoned for him locking his parishioners out of his church and Daryl paraphrased Rick by saying "We're not The Walking Dead" 😉

The show started with Rick searching for his family and it ended with Rick searching for his family His appearance definitely wasn’t just to hype the new shows it was to bring his character and the whole show full circle Expecting anything more from his appearance was setting yourself up for disappointment His appearance and his smile is everything it’s life hope future and a breath of release Perfect final moment for the series.

Homies, I’m really going to miss seeing this reaction series with y’all. I first got into y’all last year sadly a few weeks after we had to let my dog pass and it destroyed me; but watching y’all has definitely helped give me some levity as I work on my recovery from losing our pup. It’s always been fun coming back on Fridays right as I was getting off work for the weekend to see a new Walking Dead reaction. Especially the last two seasons as the show adapted to the real-world life changing event of COVID and got sharper and leaner and crazier at the same time. 1. It was Eugene’s Baby that he named Rosita (“rosey”) 2. Gabriel did a 360 bc when we met him, he had locked his parishioners out and now was fighting to let people in. 3. The Last Walker Daryl drove past was played by Greg Nicotero bc Greg played the first walker you saw with Daryl back in S1 E3

Rest In Peace to one of my top favourites if not my favourite show of all time I just thought it was the perfect ending Rosita dying protecting her baby Coco at all costs Gabriel’s character coming full circle opening the gates to the estate unlike when he locked his congregation out of his church Daryl coming full circle with the We Ain’t The Walking Dead Eugene And Max having a kid and naming it Rosie Carol calling Daryl her best friend many other love stories with happy endings like Magna And Yumiko Princess And Mercer And oh yeah the Commonwealth being ruled by Ezekiel and Mercer I’d live there XD And the ending it made me cry harder than I’ve cried at a TV show or a movie We all wanted Danai Gurira (Michonne) And Andrew Lincoln (Rick) to come back all these years but I always had hope that it would truly happen It’s just so heartbreaking knowing that Rick has been trying to come back all these years he even escaped just to be taken again I’ve been on this journey since I was 12 and now I’m 26 I’ve grown up with this show And of course I’m psyched about the universe expanding and while I’m sure those shows are gonna be incredible there will be nothing quite like The Walking Dead You just can’t replicate it What a journey it’s been I’m still crying even watching your reactions lol but I’m man enough to admit it XD

One HUGE thing that deserves to be pointed out. The baby Eugene held at the end of the show was HIS baby. I think you confused her for "coco" (rositas baby) when you said "uncle Eugene". Its actually eugene and maxs baby. They named her "Rosie" after rosita to honor her.

Some people think Negan should have stayed for the dinner celebration. I don't think Negan would have been comfortable with that. Despite his redemption, Negan will never be part of the group. Other than Maggie losing Glenn, the trauma from what everyone else lost from dealing with the saviors isn't something that they can just forget no matter how much time has passed and what events have occured since then. Negan earned respect from Daryl, Carol, Ezekiel and others as well as an acknowledgement from Maggie that he's changed. That's enough to part ways on good terms.

If youre gonna watch The Ones Who Live, i highly suggest you watch the Two Season "World Beyond" spin off FIRST as it has continuity with that one. The other spin offs, you can jump right into. Particularly Fear The Walking Dead next as it comtinues the stories of several TWD Main Series characters whose stories weren't done on the Main Show. Please dont let your viewers bully you into missing out on crucial world building by threatening not to watch if you do thatm you guys liked Morgan and Dwight. You guys want to know what happened with Jadis and Rick. You will want to know what happens with Daryl and Maggie and Negan. Even if you dont film them, still watch them. You guys will enjoy them. Dont let them sway your opinions on things youve never watched.

I was REALLY into The Walking Dead when it came out. They lost me when after Glen was killed by Negan, that Maggie (or anyone else in their group) didn't kill Negan the first chance they got. Haven't watched an episode since but I was curious how it ended.
