Lovely video hubby. Growing up in Chester-le-Street,it is so sad to see so many empty buildings. Still have our memories though😊xxx

Thanks for this, it bears no resemblance to the Chester-Le-Street I grew up in,I have visited back quite recently, nice to see that David Summerfield Jewellers are still trading,My first job was there on leaving Lord Lawson school in 1977.

Its nothing like it used to be James. It has gone down hill. Carole is from Chester le Street so its a special place for me. Hope you and Sanja are doing well.

This could be ANY UK high street - boarded up shops Greggs & charity shops - I have not been to Chester -Le-Street for well over 20 years Im going to have to go to see how much it has changed with my own eyes - my mate used to live next to the church spire !!
