Walking from Loews Portofino Bay Hotel to Universal Orlando Resort via the "Garden Walk"

Let's take the Garden Walk path from Loews Portofino Bay Hotel to the Universal theme parks & CityWalk! This walking path starts near the bay with all of the boats/plaza and walks towards the boat dock. From there, follow the signs to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and CityWalk!

It's amazing! Definitely something I'd consider if I was going to stay at Universal. However, those hotels which are close by are also more expensive. Always pros and cons! : )

A very nice walkway. It has so much shade along the way which is wonderful. The only thing I would add would be strategically placed benches to stop, sit and ponder about the absolutely beautiful day. You have to stop and smell the roses once in a while. Thank you for your great videos. 🌞👍👍👍👍👍😊

I'm with you on that. Where are the benches for our tired feet? It was pretty hot out though. So I was just focused on getting to the next air conditioned place. 😂

This is so helpful, me and my husband have just booked Portifino after staying at RP in November and were panicking it was too far out after reading it’s a 25 minute walk! This puts my mind at ease that it’s really not that far!

First off, these videos are a fantastic way to relax, to get excited for our upcoming trip, and to help plan our trip; especially the walks from the hotels to city walk give us a good idea about how much time we should give ourselves to do certain things. Second, have you considered doing walks between the hotels? Obviously with this one you can see the walk from Portofino to Hard Rock along the way to City Walk. But one thing my wife and I are planning to do is to walk from Royal Pacific to Aventura as we are staying at RP but want to go to Bar 17 Bistro one night. We see the way on the map, and it looks like about a half mile using the walking paths (starting near the convention center part of RP, walking on the walkway to Sapphire Falls and through it's lobby since SF shares a driveway and is right next door to Aventura). The distance isn't too bad, but seeing the walk ahead of time would be awesome.
